CANADA

We currently accept and ship orders within Canada.


USA & Beyond

We are, however, working toward opening up to sales to other nations, beginning with the USA.


Quotes

Quotes for in-stock and/or special order items can be prepared upon request. Please contact us (see our Contact Us page) with the following information:


Name of the product(s) you wish to order, including quantity and size (if applicable)

Your name and email address

Shipping address and preferred delivery method (Canada Post or courier)


NOTE: quotes are valid for thirty days from the date of issue.


Purchase Orders

Purchase orders may be submitted by contacting us (please see our Contact Us page) with the following information:


Name of the product(s) you wish to order, including quantity and size (if applicable)

Your name and email address

Shipping address and preferred delivery method (Canada Post or courier)

If applicable, include your institution’s purchase order number


If your institution has previously arranged an alternative form of payment with us, we will send an e-invoice to the address on file for payment.


If your institution has not previously arranged an alternative form of payment with us, we will send the e-invoice to you or, if provided, to an alternative email address you designate for payment by credit card.


Note: for large orders (>175 lbs.) or tax-exempt orders, please contact us (see our Contact Us page).


Orders will ship once payment has been received.


Special Orders

We accept special orders for a wide variety of archival, paper and laboratory products that we do not currently stock in our webstore (e.g., conservation tools, paper of every description, archival storage solutions, moisture and humidity control, pest control).


In as much detail as possible, describe what you require:


Name of the product(s) you wish to order, including quantity and size (if applicable)

Your name and email address

Shipping address and preferred delivery method (Canada Post or courier)


If the item is available from one of our suppliers, we will let you know:


The price of the item(s)

An estimate of how soon your item(s) can be expected to be available for shipping


NOTE: a quote will not be considered an order until it is accepted. Once accepted, all special orders are final.


Tax-Exemption

If you are purchasing for an organization that is tax-exempt, please contact us (see our Contact Us page) with your order details and we will send you an e-invoice that reflects your tax-exempt status:


Name of the product(s) you wish to order, including quantity and size (if applicable)

Your name and email address

Shipping address and preferred delivery method (Canada Post or courier)

Your tax-exempt number

If applicable, your institution’s purchase order number


Payment

All orders are prepaid.


Credit Cards: Visa and MasterCard are accepted for orders placed through the webstore. E-invoices include a link that also permits secure payment using a credit card (a .pdf copy for your records will be available for download).


Other: our institutional customers are invited to contact us (please see our Contact Us page) regarding alternative methods of payment.


Shipping

Shipping estimates are available in the webstore prior to submitting orders by adding item(s) to the shopping bag, clicking the “Change” button under the statement “Tax shown for…” in the open shopping bag and entering your province and postal code information. You will automatically be shown a variety of shipping methods and prices.


Available shipping methods include Canada Post and courier. The shipping options you see are those available to you based on your location and the weight of the contents of your shopping bag.


Orders are generally shipped within 24-72 hours of being received (except during holidays and weekends). Special orders usually ship within 7-14 business days. How quickly your order arrives once shipped depends on the delivery method selected.


Returns

We take great care in packaging your order for shipment but, should it arrive damaged, please contact us immediately so that we can arrange for it to be returned and replaced.


Items returned for reasons other than the foregoing will be refunded minus shipping charges if they are returned in the same condition in which they were sold except for special order items and sales of our specialty papers and plant press kits, which are final.


Please contact us regarding refund requests prior to returning the item(s).


Security

We follow industry best practices to secure all of your personal information. Our site utilizes SSL encryption (look for the GlobalSign SSL seal in the upper left corner of this page, the padlock symbol in the address bar and a second padlock on our checkout page in the lower right corner of the box where you enter your name and address) and is monitored by McAfee and SiteLock (their seals may be seen in the lower right and upper left corners, respectively).

If you have forgotten your password, click the Sign In link found on the main page of our store. When the sign in window appears, click on the Forgot Your Password? link. Enter your email address and click Reset Password. Check your email and click the link provided in the message sent to you. Enter your new password and click the Change Password button.
