Shopping FAQ

Quotes, Purchase Orders and Invoices

For our institutional customers, we are happy to supply quotes, receive purchase orders and issue invoices.

Quotes

For quotes, please contact us with the following information: Name of the product(s) for which you wish a quote, including quantity and size (if applicable) Your name and email address Shipping address Quotes are valid for fifteen days from the date of issue.

Purchase Orders

Purchase orders may be emailed or faxed to 1-877-735-9115.

Invoice

Invoices are emailed and are payable upon receipt. Unless otherwise stated, orders will ship within 24-72 hours of receipt of payment.

Special Orders

We accept orders for a wide variety of archival, paper and laboratory products that we do not currently stock in our webstore. If there is something that you require that you do not see in our store, please contact us with: A description of the product(s) you require Your name and email address Your shipping address We will issue a quote and provide an estimate as to when the item(s) should be available for shipping. Once accepted, all special orders are final.

Payment

All orders are prepaid. Unless a delay with respect to a particular product has been noted in the store or on an invoice, orders generally ship within 24-72 hours of receipt of payment. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Sales Tax

Orders will be taxed at the appropriate rate for the province or territory of delivery. Tax-Exemption If you are purchasing on behalf of an organization that is tax-exempt, please register as a customer of our store by clicking the Sign-in link (found on our Home page, below the product categories). Then send us an email to inform us of your tax exempt status and provide us with your tax exempt number. We will adjust your account so that tax is not added to any orders you place.

Shipping

We ship via Canada Post and courier. Orders are generally shipped within 24-72 hours of being received (except during holidays and weekends). Special orders usually ship within 7-14 business days. Once shipped, prompt delivery is the responsibility of Canada Post or the courier to whom your order is entrusted. While we have no control over delays at this point, we will communicate with the shipper on your behalf to try to rectify any problems. All orders are shipped FOB South Mountain, Ontario.

Returns

We take great care in packaging your order for shipment but, should it arrive damaged, please contact us immediately so that we can arrange for it to be returned and replaced. Items returned for reasons other than the foregoing will be refunded minus shipping charges if they are returned in the same condition in which they were sold except for special order items and sales of our specialty papers and plant press kits, which are final. Please contact us regarding refund requests prior to returning the item(s).

Paper Samples

We want to be certain that the paper from which our mounting papers, blotter paper, species folders and genus covers are made meet your requirements. If you have any concerns, please contact us to request paper samples.

International Orders

We currently ship to addresses located within Canada.
